Writing about Burnout Media is not an easy task but that's exactly what we will try to cover in this article. Many companies never start out with the same name or the same idea for that matter. Burnout Media falls into that catagory as it was once known as The FN Radio.
Every company has a mission but at the beginning, I believe the goal was to be as shocking as possible. What is your thoughts when you first hear the name The FN Radio? I'm sure you don't get a very PG feeling. The shows Late Nights on the Mic and The Wrestling Burnout were calculated on during this era. LNOTM and TWB proved very early to be two shows that you would regret missing as some of the best interviews, prank calls and segments happened during this run.
When exactly does a company grow up become something bigger and better? Everybody behind the current day product of Burnout Media knew back in The FN Radio days that we all wanted to do something more. After multiple creative meetings, The FN Radio name would take on a whole new life of retirement as Burnout Radio was born. A goal of making the shows a little less vulgar but with the same comedy came into play. And it worked! There was still something that just didn't feel right though and we realized what it is!
The whole crew at Burnout Media from Mike Yatz to Tray Blaylock to G Rod are passionate about the radio industry but that's not the only thing we wanted to do. A dream of becoming more then just a live talk radio station evolved into wanting to do other kinds of media as well. Whether that be podcasting, video shows, live webcam streams, Burnout Media didn't want to be labeled as just one thing but many other awesome things!
With all of this being said and a new year right around the corner, on behalf of the entire Burnout Media staff... We hope you stick around for the ride, make sure you put on your seatbelt and we'll make 2012 the best year for Burnout Media yet!
