Burnout Media Going Social

With only a couple months away from the launch of Burnout Media's new custom site design and social networking features, we here at Burnout Media thought it would be appropriate to release another update on what is sure to be "the next big thing" when it comes to social networking.

Burnout Media management just recently gave me the opportunity to get an inside look at what is coming on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at midnight and I was shocked at what I had seen. The new custom site design was nothing similar to what Burnout Media currently has up. It's clean, colorful and very easy to navigate. It seems like they have paid very close attention to detail when it comes to the design. Although the Burnout Media logo hasn't changed, they added a little more color to it to go with their new color scheme. Nothing big but definitely a difference in that sense.

As for the social network itself, it seemed to be a great foundation for the future updates that they're promising not too long after the initial launch. All of my favorite social networking features were included with a few extras that I am not allowed to share at this point. One thing I can share with you is that they're trying to build the ultimate communications tool to keep in touch with your friends and family besides the already-popular messaging and commenting features. Another surprising note is that although Burnout Media is still definitely a live radio, there is a twist to how they do the show pages. There were also a lot more shows and a great feature called Live Listener Center which I wasn't able to get the chance to use. Burnout Media is definitely thinking outside the box and focusing on what people will find useful.

I wish I could share more with you but they only let me check out some of the features for only a few minutes. Until my next update, this is Sean Stevens reporting for Burnout Media!
